Tirta Empul Temple

Tirta Empul Temple or Tampak Siring Temple is a holy spring water temple located in Tampak Siring Village, Gianyar regency and it is about 39 km eastwards from Denpasar town. It is set in the dale and encircled by the hill. In the west side of this temple, there is an Indonesian President palace which has been found by the first president. The name of Tirta Empul is loaded in a inscription which is kept at Sakenan Temple, Manukaya village, Sub district of Tampak Siring, about 3 km from Tirta Empul Temple. In this inscription, the Tirta Empul is named by the Tirta Ri Air Hampul and then the name has changed into Tirta Hampul and finally become the Tirta Empul. Tirta Ri air hampul is meaning the water emerge or the holy pool (Petirthan) which is the water emerge from the land.

Ubud Monkey Forest is a small rain forest dwelt by some group of monkeys and other tropical animals. It is strategically located in the hearth of Ubud Village, precisely located in the region of Padang Tegal Village, Ubud Sub district and Gianyar Regency. Monkey Forests in Balinese language called Wanara Wana are spread out in the island and Ubud Monkey Forest itself own very important function of the continuity the monkey habitat in Bali. Meanwhile the local community own important role to keep this forest naturally in order to all wild animals able to live smoothly.

Goa Gajah

Goa Gajah is located in the west of the village of Bedulu, Blahbatuh, Gianyar regency. The distance is about 26 km from the city of Denpasar. Exact location of this cave is on the brink and a meeting of a small river in the village. Goa Gajah
Allegedly said Goa Gajah derived from the word 'Lwa Gajah', which means the temple where people worship Buddhist monks. At ejection Negarakertagama compiled by MPU prapanca in 1365 AD The name there. While the word "Lwa" means river. Then summed into a hermitage situated on the banks of the river.

From the parking area towards Goa Gajah, travelers had to descend the stairs to Goa Gajah. It is surrounded by lush green trees, so the atmosphere is very cool and beautiful. According to the officers who keep these places, the trees are hundreds of years old. Goa Gajah complex as a whole can be seen from the stairs. Arriving at the bottom will be heard gurgling sound of water flowing from the fountain statue. The rocks former building that was once destroyed by an earthquake are also found around the shower. While Goa Gajah itself, located not far from the statue showers.
The entrance is through the mouth of the cave is only enough for one person. Outside it there are carvings and statues guard 2. The inside of the T-shaped cave with a height of about 2 meters wide and 2 meters. The left and right of the hallway there is also a niche that may in antiquity is imprisoned. But now tourists can sit or lie down there. At the west end of the hallway there is a Ganesha statue and the east end of the hall there are 3 phallus.
In addition there is also a statue around the cave with seven statues petirtaan Widyadara-Widyadari who was holding the holy water. There are a total of seven sculptures that symbolize the seven rivers in India, where the birthplace of the Hindu and Buddhist religions.

Water Blow is an attraction that you have to see when you visit the beautiful Island of Bali. The cliffs are steep and the color of the sea is very concentrated and this makes Water Blow a very nice photo object, especially when u combine the photo with some rocks and dried plants that sway in the wind. This will add a very romantic ambience to your picture.

Kerta Gosa is a beautiful historical site situated in the hearth of Semarapura Town, about 40 km east side of Denpasar City. The name of Kerta Gosa is taken from Sanskrit where Kerta means serene and meanwhile Gosa word is derive from Gosita that mean established or announced. Thus the meaning of Kerta Gosa is a kind of Bale building where the king announces Judicial Legislation, justice, punishment and so on. Beside of Kerta Gosa, there is a building called by Taman Gili which is located adjacent to Bale Kembang that is a traditional building floating in the center of fish pond.The building is very unique and full of high art value so that this place is a unique place to visit in Bali.

One of the interesting points in Taman Sukasada is Taman Gili (Gili Park) set in the middle of large pond and this place is especially used as a relaxation site by Karangasem King.

Tirta Gangga is a beautiful park with the huge water fountain and wide pond located at Abang Sub-district, Karangasem Regency in east part of Bali. Tirta Gangga Park is built in the year of 1948 by the Karangasem King of Anak Agung Agung Angluerah Ketut Karangasem. Before this park is found, there is big wellspring found in this area which the local society believe that this water come from the land is holy spring therefore they call this place is Embukan means wellspring. According to the local believe that this wellspring functioning as a bath place for the god and also used as drinking water for the local community from the nearest village. Therefore this wellspring is sacrificed by local people and keeps the park naturally. The King of Karangasem has got an idea to improve this park into a good looking and nowadays, it becomes one of the famous tourist destinations in east part of Bali.
