Taman Sukasada (Suksada Park) or Taman Ujung is a beautiful park located at Ujung Village, around 5 km southern part of Amlapura Town. The park is laid out very beautiful and unique reminiscent to the Dutch colonial period because the architecture of the park is designed by European style. Now, this park has been refurbished into beautiful site that is swept by the tropical atmosphere make this site become peaceful which is suitable for relaxation. If you visit this site, you will be brought into a memorable of Dutch colonialism period as well as the buildings are designed based on European style that create the classic nuance so this park is a must place to visit on your vacation in the island of God.When viewed from the history, almost all the heritages of Karangasem Kingdom both in Lombok and Bali Island those are consisted of pond and Gili Building where the Gili building is set on the pond like Mayura Park, Narmada Park located in west Lombok. Taman Sukasada is able to be said as a mascot of Bali’s Tourism because Sukasada Park is well known in all over the world. One of the interesting points in Taman Sukasada is Taman Gili (Gili Park) set in the middle of large pond and this place is especially used as a relaxation site by Karangasem King.
